ECOFAP is a Ugandan agribusiness company specializing in organic farming and processing of nutritious cereal, legume, and pumpkin foods for babies, pregnant and lactating mothers, geriatrics, and families. Established in Kawanda, NARO-NARL Food Bio Science and Agribusiness (FBA) food processing facility, ECOFAP empowers 320 smallholder farmers, primarily youth, women, and refugees, by providing them with training, resources, and market access for their organically grown produce. With a vision to become the leading provider of safe, nutritious cereal foods with a sustainable value chain, ECOFAP is committed to making a positive impact on people's diets and livelihoods.
